Aquascape launches “Green Community Makeover Movement” seminar tour

Aquascape, Inc. announced its Green Community Makeover Movement seminar tour scheduled to hit 20 cities in three North American countries this winter. Focused on presenting sustainable landscape solutions, this tour is designed to help contractors, landscape architects, engineers, city planners and conservationists to network while exploring the latest technologies and marketing practices around the worldwide green movement. Presented in tandem by Greg Wittstock, Founder and CEO of Aquascape and Ed Beaulieu, Chief Sustainability Officer for Aquascape, this highly interactive, multi-media presentation will provide attendees with the knowledge and strategy to capitalize on the sustainability movement sweeping our nation.

Conservation landscaping trends to be covered in the seminar include stormwater management, water conservation, rainwater harvesting, LED lighting, permeable pavement, high efficiency irrigation, rain gardens, xeriscaping and more! The goal of the seminar is to showcase existing residential and commercial green projects while encouraging interaction among the diverse groups to undertake their own projects locally.

“By bringing like-minded businesses, government organizations and conservation groups together while presenting examples of projects being built elsewhere, we hope to spark local green projects and sustainable initiatives,” says Beaulieu.

Through these seminars, Aquascape will launch its grass-roots “Green Community Makeover Movement,” intended to encourage and reward individual communities to do their part in greening our planet. Attendees will learn how to conduct their own campaigns from real-life examples. Other topics to be discussed include government grants available for supporting green initiatives, along with facts and challenges facing our planet’s struggle toward sustainability.

Enrollment is limited to contractors, landscape architects, engineers, government agencies and conservation groups in order to encourage productive networking. The seminar cost is $149 per person with a third person free for every two paid attendees.
