CLCA recognizes LMS for excellence in water management

Landscape Management Services (LMS), a full-service grounds maintenance company that serves commercial, industrial and multi-residential properties, was recognized as a Water Management Corporate Excellence Partner by the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) at the recent Bay Area Landscape Water Conference.

The Water Management Corporate Excellence Partner award acknowledges companies that demonstrate a high level of commitment to reducing landscape water use through the effective management of resources. To be considered, a company must participate in the CLCA Water Management Performance Program, which requires participants to provide monthly water meter readings that meet a CLCA-determined water budget over a 12-month span.

“With the ongoing drought in California, water management is more important than ever,” said George Kaiser, president of LMS. “We are thrilled to have received this recognition because it means LMS is doing its part to help the environment as well as provide above-and-beyond service for our clients.”

LMS helps decrease water use on its clients’ properties by implementing the latest irrigation technologies to increase efficiency and eliminate runoff as well as replacing select areas with drought-tolerant landscapes.

LMS was one of only three Water Management Corporate Excellence Partner recipients this year, and this is the second award the company has received from CLCA.
