Dixie Chopper, owned by Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. company, recently announced the expansion of its 2015 product lineup with the addition of two new commercial zero-turn mowers powered by Kohler electronic fuel injection (EFI) engines. The Classic 3160EFI and XCaliber 3366EFI are being added to Dixie Chopper’s product lineup mid-year due to strong 2015 commercial bookings and increased interest in Kohler EFI-powered machines.
The Classic 3160EFI will be powered by a 31-hp., fuel-efficient, 824-cc Kohler Command PRO EFI engine to reach a ground speed of 12 mph with a mowing capacity of 5.4 acres per hour. The XCaliber 3366EFI will come equipped with a 33-hp., fuel-efficient, 824-cc Kohler Command PRO EFI engine, reaching a ground speed of 13 mph to mow more than 6 acres per hour.
Kohler engines are known throughout the industry for their outstanding horsepower and torque. The new Command PRO series takes it to another level with a highly tuned air intake system that enhances airflow to maximize power and torque.

Kohler’s closed-loop EFI system, when coupled with the new design, makes the 824 Command PRO engine the most fuel-efficient commercial engine currently in its lineup.

These 2 new models will join the 3 existing Dixie Chopper Kohler EFI-powered machines in the 2015 product lineup, the Silver Eagle 2760EFI, Classic 3572EFI and XCaliber 3574EFI.
The Classic 3160EFI and XCaliber 3366EFI will be available to purchase in mid-2015 from Dixie Chopper dealers across the United States and Canada.
