Irrigation Foundation prepares to launch Irrigation Career Link

The Irrigation Foundation announced the development of Irrigation Career Link, a website dedicated to providing both veteran and emerging irrigation professionals with access to job listings.

A product of contributions from Irrigation Foundation donors, the tool was developed in order to support the Foundation’s vision of a future where the irrigation industry is thriving with an ample supply of educated and highly skilled professionals. The site will provide a place for:

Job seekers to post resumes for public viewing free of charge.
Certified professionals to leverage their designations in the job hunt.
Companies to advertise open positions for a nominal fee.
Students to find and secure internship opportunities.

The Irrigation Career Link will help facilitate communication between potential employees and employers in the agriculture, landscape, sports turf and municipal markets. This is a fundamental goal for the Foundation and will create a centralized place for irrigation-related job opportunities. “Our industry can help people make a difference while making a living and the Irrigation Career Link will be valuable in helping recruit the next generation of irrigators,” said Foundation Chair Steve McCoon.

The Irrigation Career Link is expected to be up and running on the Foundation website within the next month, with additional details coming soon. To learn more about the Foundation and its mission, visit www.irrigationfoundation.org
