President of The Fockele Garden Company receives rainwater collection accreditation

Mark Fockele, president of The Fockele Garden Company, has been recognized as an Accredited Professional by the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA).

ARCSA is a non-profit organization that promotes rainwater catchment systems in the United States. The Accredited Professionals designation demonstrates competency in a range of rainwater management techniques.

The Fockele Garden Company has designed and installed a wide variety of rainwater systems, which collect rainwater for irrigation use in lieu of municipal water. Demand for such systems is becoming stronger due to the fact that municipal water use is becoming more restricted and more expensive. Fockele also has given lectures on the subject for groups such as the Georgia Perennial Plant Association, the Alabama chapter of the American Institute of Architecture, and individual architectural firms.

Based in Gainesville, Ga., The Fockele Garden Company serves clients throughout the Southeast. The company focuses on the maintenance and installation of commercial landscapes and residential gardens, and provides services such as irrigation systems, cisterns, custom water features, and stone work.
