Ryan introduces new Lawnaire core aerator with Easy Steer Technology

Ryan expanded its line of walk-behind aerators to include a unit that features new Easy Steer Technology (EST). The New Lawnaire V with EST combines all of the same great performance and user-friendly features and benefits as Ryan’s current Lawnaire V core aerator with a new tine assembly that enables the unit to turn easily while in the aeration process – without removing the tines from the ground.

“The difference is in the tine bank assembly”, stated Ryan product manager, Jay Baudhuin. “Each tine wheel assembly has a one-way clutch bearing. This design is responsive to the operator and enables easy turning capability while the tines are in the ground. This new tine design enables easy turning capability without costly hydraulic tine assemblies or dissimilar controlling mechanisms.”

The handle isn’t the only familiar tried and true component of the new Lawnaire V with EST. The Lawnaire V with EST utilizes 90% of the same components as the current Lawnaire V, so it has the proven, durability and reliability of the Ryan name while minimizing the number of new service parts required for dealers to stock, and helps maintain a low cost of ownership for the customer.

With an aeration speed of up to 45,000 square feet per hour and a 26.5 inch aeration swath, the LA-V with EST will certainly get the job done quickly. New Easy Steer Technology reduces user fatigue by allowing the user to steer the unit without taking the tines out of the ground making the unit more productive because it is easier to use. The drum-style, self-propelled aerator features solid steel axles mounted on construction grade sealed ball bearings, a single nickel-plated drive chain (tine & drum) for durability, and easy to remove rear wheels enable the LA-V with EST to get through standard yard gates with ease.
