Exmark awarded NJPA national contract for landscape maintenance equipment

Exmark has been awarded a national cooperative contract by the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) to be a vendor of professional landscape maintenance equipment, attachments and accessories. The four-year contract, which includes an option for a fifth-year, was approved August 18, 2017.

The contract gives more than 50,000 NJPA members in the United States and Canada access to Exmark commercial walk-behind, stand-on and zero-turn riding mowers, as well as turf management equipment including aerators, spreader-sprayers, seeders and more. The contract is valid in all areas where local laws and statutes permit cooperative purchasing.

Exmark’s Director of Sales, John Swanson, said the contract helps the company better serve a wide variety of municipalities, educational institutions and non-profit organizations across North America.

“Exmark is proud to partner with the NJPA to make access to Exmark’s industry-leading commercial mowers and turf management equipment easier for its members and looks forward to the opportunity to serve these organizations.”

The NJPA serves members in the government, education and non-profit sectors with cooperative purchasing contracts for the procurement of necessary products and services. Prospective suppliers must go through a rigorous application and competitive selection process to ensure the products and/or services offered are consistent with the premium quality and value standards of the NJPA and its members.

The Exmark contract is classified under NJPA contract number 062117-EXM.
