GRHC’s Journal of Living Architecture announces new co-editors-in-chief

The Journal of Living Architecture (JOLA), the official, peer-reviewed, academic journal of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, announced the appointment of two new Co-Editors-in-Chief — Dr. Reid Coffman of Kent State University and Dr. David Tilley of the University of Maryland. The open access journal was launched in 2013; and the JOLA’s green roof and wall research is published quarterly on the Living Architecture Monitor magazine website. The magazine publishes abstracts of each JOLA paper in the quarterly magazine, with links to the full paper online, in order to reach a greater audience. The most recent issue of the magazine and journal were released yesterday and can be found at www.livingarchitecturemonitor.com.

“The JOLA helps to bring important scientific research to the attention of green roof professionals,” said Steven Peck, founder and president of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. “The journal will be strengthened with Dr. Coffman and Dr. Tilley as our new Editors-in-Chief.”

“Scientists, engineers, architects and other researchers needed a peer-reviewed, scholarly venue with a global reach to share the rapidly growing knowledge about living technologies and living architecture,” said Tilley. “I look forward to helping lead the JOLA to become a world-class journal.”
