“The development of the new Workman HD series incorporates valuable voice of the customer from golf course superintendents, sports turf, parks, municipal and university turf managers, as well as technicians and operators,” said Tim Koch, sr. marketing manager for Toro utility vehicles. “This research led to the design of enhancing the legendary Workman industry leading work vehicle toughness and durability to an even higher level of on the job performance.”
Design components on all six models include an I-beam shaped DeDion rear axle, which isolates and protects the engine, transmission and main frame from vehicle loading, a truss-like front space frame for superior torsional rigidity, integrated wheel bearings, and hydraulic disk brakes on all four wheels to make the Workman ready for the toughest challenges.
