The Hydraulic Institute (HI), North America’s largest pump association and global authority on pumps and pumping systems, will be hosting its 2009 annual meeting at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in Marco Island, Fla. from February 20-24.

Themed “Innovation & Productivity in Turbulent Times – Position Your Company for Growth,” this year’s event will provide senior executives, engineers and human resource and marketing professionals with a unique opportunity to network with peers and colleagues representing the North American and European pump community, as well as advance pump knowledge, exchange ideas and learn about new trends and challenges.

In addition to guest speakers, a key feature of the meeting is the opportunity to work with technical committees on industry standards, guidelines and electronic data exchange protocols. Representatives from Member, Associate Member and HI Standards Partner companies work together to develop comprehensive standards and guidelines using an ANSI-approved consensus process. They also produce other industry-related technical documents, books, educational programs and e-Learning courses.
